Well designed cars are what I love to drive, poorly engineered cars are what I love to fix.
I have loved cars as long as I could remember seeing my grandpa work on his own cars, I wanted to be just like him, dependable when it came to finding the problem. He has always been a well put together man and since I was little I have had a short fuse, anyone that has worked with cars for any period of time will tell you that you need a metric ton of patience when working on cars so my initial observation when I got my first job at Midas was that I was simply not cut out for the job, my hands where bleeding constantly and I always came out looking like I had been playing in a pigpen when I finished the job. Since then I have realized that a lot of the time doing the job as fast as possible is not what is desirable, you loose parts, usually become hurt and most of all you get frustrated when its not getting done as fast as you had though. Now I take my time when things become difficult, a change in perspective is all that is needed when dealing with a difficult car, a different angle or most likely, a different tool. These words do not tell you a beautiful story but they do tell you why a large majority of Mobile Mechanics never solidify their job, they can never finish the job without hacking something up or simply not finishing it. I am here to make a brand and a standard for how jobs should be completed. I am not saying I am incapable of making mistakes but I am saying I will make it right IF I make one.
